2022 NATAL DAY ROAD RACE COURSE MAP
The 2022 course has been shortened for this year to accommodate preparations taking place for the World Sprint Canoe Championships. This year's event will consist of a 1.8 mile race (one loop) and a 5.4 mile race (three loops). Both races start and finish at Christ Church on Ochterloney St.
We plan to return to our traditional route in 2023.
The course is open to traffic but is well controlled by police and course marshals for your safety. After 9:30 AM we may lose some police support and traffic will be heavier as the number of participants on the course declines. If it will take you more than 1:15 to complete the race, please move to the side of the road and be cautious, particularly for the last mile along Portland St and Alderney Dr. The finish line will remain open until at least 10:00 AM.
